Placing youth on the path to success

Who We Are

Young people have so much to offer to the world – we believe in the power that they hold, and know that they will mold future generations to come. At Young Fellow Volunteers, we are here to give them opportunities in order to shape them into leaders of the future. We are organizing youth projects within the Erasmus+ framework in order to help nurture our participants and help them develop the skills they will carry throughout their lives.

Young Fellow Volunteers was established in Bordeaux, France, in 2021 by a small group of passionate young people. We are students, young workers, travelers, and volunteers. We also have an elementary teacher in our group helping us organize workshops and providing educational tools. Our group is open to all young people and youth workers. In the group, three people are very experienced with Erasmus+ projects. What initially brought us together was having the same passion and the same interest in bringing young people from different cultures together, and helping educate young people with different viewpoints and cultures, all in order to contribute to creating a better future for Europe and for the world.

Erasmus+ projects

Our members are all very experienced in Erasmus+ projects (Youth Exchanges or Training Courses, as well as long-term volunteering projects) as participants, and we have started using this cumulative experience and knowledge to organize and carry out our own Erasmus+ project.
If you're new to this world of Erasmus+, here is some information about these projects.

Youth Exchanges

Youth Exchanges are projects for young people between 13 and 30 years old, but it is important to take into account that most projects focus on young people between 18 and 30 years old, since there are not so many opportunities for minors. In each project there are groups of young people from different nationalities, which are accompanied by a team leader who must be over 18 years old. The core of these projects is cultural sharing and informal learning, so it is a good option if you want to have your first contact with the international reality.

Training Courses

Training Courses and Seminars involve participants from the age of 18 and have no maximum limit, however it is aimed at youth workers with experience in the topic of the project. During these projects everyone contributes with knowledge and activities, while improving their knowledge on a certain topic. It is important to highlight that in some cases young people who are not youth workers also take part in Training Courses and Seminars.
